SHODEN WAZA:

Yaegaki Omote ("Barriers-Within-Barriers: Outer") builds on the fundamentals (kihon) of the first four kata. Attacked from the front, the iaidoka slashes with nukitsuke, rises, steps forward and performs kirioroshi, followed by Eishin-ryu ("flicking") chiburi. The wounded attacker slashes at the defender's shin. The iaidoka parries with the mine (back) of the sword, and counters again with kirioroshi. He cleans the blade with the large "wet-umbrella" Oumori-ryu chiburi we encountered in the basic kata.
