Because of spatial constraints and hydrogen bonding, Watson-Crick base- pairing is highly specific: in DNA, A always pairs with T, and C always pairs with G.

So look at our short strands of DNA again:

5’-ACCGTAG-3’ and 5’-CTACGGT-3’

Convince yourself that they’re complementary, and they have to pair up:

5’-ACCGTAG-3’
3’-TGGCATC-3’

It’s this pairing of complementary bases that lies at the heart of information processing in the Quantum Meat.
