A few  presentations produced in the course of my teaching responsibilities in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Wayne State University/Detroit Receiving Hospital.  I'll update them and add new ones from time to time. Contact me with comments, criticisms, suggestions, and general whining.  MOST OF THESE ARE WEB SITES CONVERTED FROM POWERPOINT AND ARE, SADLY, BEST VIEWED IN EXPLORER. Someday, when I have a little time, I may fix that.

Diarrhea II. Follow up lecture on diarrhea in adult immunocompromised patients. Powerpoint file. Best viewed in powerpoint or in Explorer.

Diarrhea! Diarrhea! (2008) Lecture for residents and faculty. Best viewed in Explorer.

Compensated Headache Management for Dummies (2008): from the HAWG (Headache Working Group). Best viewed in Explorer.

The Future or Emergency Medicine (2006) - lecture to faculty and residents. Powerpoint file. Best viewed in Powerpoint or in Explorer.

Ten Groovy Papers (2003) - I was honored to be asked to give this lecture to the annual assembly of the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians.

Emergency Department Management of Stroke (2002) - orientation lecture I give to our annual crop of eager, fresh-faced, highly dangerous interns.

ED Management of Traumatic Brain Injury (2002) - another orientation lecture.

Venous Thromboembolism (2001) - this field continues to evolve rapidly, and this presentation needs a bit of an update. But most of it remains pertinent.

Diabetic Ketoacidosis (2000) - Emergency department management of DKA.

t-PA in Acute Ischemic Stroke (2000) - journal club presentation by my colleague Sarkis Kouyoumjian and myself.
